See America From Ground Level

     As I sit cramped and confined in an airplane seat staring at the dim landscape 30,000 feet below, I realize how cut off the modern traveler is from the countryside. Wouldn't it be great to be able to soar over the country close enough to see it? Such was travel in the golden age of the railroad.
     Here is a brochure from the famous "El Capitan", the only passenger train to operate the Santa Fe main line from Chicago, Illinois to Los Angeles, California.
