The Horror of It

     Although a horror comic book sounds like an oxymoron, writers and artists in this genre helped push comic books out of the simple panel grid superhero format. Their creative efforts in the Fifties and Sixties to tell more complex, psychological subjects advanced cartooning into new territory and led to today's manga and graphic novels. Halloween Hi-jinks
